Of course cards have a way of not only making a receiver smile, but laugh-out-loud. Making its first appearance at the Atlanta Gift Show in January is The Spotted Chicken Studio with its line of cards sure to cause such giggles. New to the industry – they just developed in March 2006 – the cards cause humor through funny, brightly colored chickens. The line to date includes 57 greeting cards (5" x 7"), 15 note cards, and 31 gift enclosures. Karen Hollingsworth, owner and designer for The Spotted Chicken Studio, says they will be introducing new designs before the National Stationery Show in May. "We are a small company – but growing – that hopes to provide artful greeting cards designed to make you smile," says Hollingsworth.
